Build robots for India's factory floors.
Qnion is a small robotics team in Bhosari, Pune. We write the AI, build the controllers and run the cell ourselves.
You learn fastest on a real machine.
Six things an engineer gets here, and each one is true of the lab today.
Learning on the machine
Work starts on real hardware. You test on the arm, not only in simulation.
A mentor at the next desk
The founder studied robotics and control at Columbia University. You work beside him.
A whole problem to own
Three engineers run this lab. Each one owns a part of the machine and answers for it.
Done means witnessed
A task is done when someone has watched it run. Writing the code is not enough.
Work across layers
One week can hold a camera driver, a gripper drawing and a control loop.
Work meant for a plant
We are looking for pilot partners in forging and casting plants. Your work is built to run there.
These are the problems on our bench.
Each one is still open for loose forged parts on a plant floor.
Make the robot see the part.
Loose parts under plant lighting. No fixture holds them in place.
Plan a new pick on every cycle.
Collision-free. The part never lies the same way twice.
Drive six servo joints in real time.
The controller must stop the arm safely when vision fails.
Show the live cell in 3D.
Nakasha runs in a browser. Engineers select zones on real surfaces.
Design and build the full cell.
Grippers, mounts, guarding and conveyors, for each new robot application.
Build the controller for each cell.
Servo drives, a safety module and an emergency stop.
This is the real screen, recorded in our lab.
- The cyan outline is the part. Its pose is tracked live from the CAD model.
- The arm is our first arm.It runs in the lab in Bhosari.
- The numbers are live.Frame rate, joint angles and link state, as the engineer sees them.

We hire people who have built something.
One role is open now: the Mechanical Engineering Intern. Engineers in the fields below can also write to us at any time.
- Robotics software
- Perception and machine learning
- Controls and embedded systems
- Mechanical design
- Electrical and electronics
You would work with these people.
